Music, while fun and entertaining, is an important key
ingredient to achieving success in any endeavor. Studies have
shown a significant correlation between music and some of the
deepest workings of the human brain, affecting our neurological,
psychological, and physical function. For years, researchers
have linked music with enhanced language differentiation and
development, math skills, better-adjusted social behavior,
improved school grades, and improvements in spatial-temporal
reasoning (problem solving skills).* |

At Haller Piano & Theory Studio, lessons are designed to
accommodate age and ability in order to take advantage of the
music/brain correlation in a fun and enthusiastic
age-appropriate environment. Piano instruction focuses on
physical requirements such as posture and breathing technique,
as well as sight-reading, memorization, and the fundamentals of
theory. Students learn to understand and play many styles of
music and have the opportunity to perform in recitals and
competitions.
